The CLAP 2027 Challenge consists of two consecutive tasks (Task 1: Annotation, Task 2: Prediction). Each task has a deadline. Annotation data and instructions are provided to all participants.
All participants must form teams, even if the team consists of a single participant. Each individual may only be a member of one team.
Anonymous participation is not allowed.
In Task 1, teams may divide the 24 assigned subjects among their members. However, each subject must be annotated by only one team member. Teams must clearly specify which team member annotated each subject.
In Task 2, manual intervention during landmark prediction is NOT permitted.
In Task 2, use of external datasets and pre-trained models is allowed if they are freely and publicly available under a permissive open-source license. The use of such resources must be clearly declared in the algorithm name, on the algorithm page, and/or in a supporting publication or URL.
The challenge is open to participants worldwide.
Participants may withdraw from the challenge at any time. However, previous submissions and any results already published cannot be retracted.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants or teams at any point for unfair or dishonest practices.
Participants are allowed to publish their results separately after the challenge. The publication embargo period will be 12 months after the announcement of the challenge results.
